Your tour starts on the beautiful verandahs of Customs House, where you will meet your fellow travellers and start your adventure into the world of tastings and history!
Venture on to the Tank Stream Sculptures and through cobblestone alleys to find your first experience, Wine Odyssey, where you will enjoy two boutique tastings of choice! ~ find out about 'esters & aromas' in wine!
Out again into the darkened alleys we learn about the ‘Six o'clock Swill’ and how the closing was introduced during World War I by 'Wowsers' who campaigned successfully to limit the sale of alcohol and beer, and the story of rum!

Ghosts lurk in Lilyvale Cottage, well that’s what the staff from The Hart’s Pub says, as we explore this area in Cumberland Street and find out about early stills.
Who was the famous chef who lived here in the 1980’s and ‘would you like to try The Hangman pale ale?, as we relax and enjoy two locally brewed tastings of choice followed by sumptuous wedges at The Hart’s Pub where their professional staff will introduce you to their locally brewed hand crafted beers. As you let the flavours sink in, listen to stories of ghosts, convicts & settlers from the early days of the colony bringing to life the traditional great tasting ales that their grandfathers drank!
