Brief Description
Nestled in the shadow of The Rocks, we start Secret Sunday’s experience with incredible stories of convicts. Taste your sumptuous selection of boutique wines. Meander through secret alleys to find mystery, mayhem, Gothic Sydney, and legendary 1840s pubs with ale!

If you love experiencing luxurious tastings of wine that you won’t find anywhere else, except at the family winey itself, then this is the tour for you. Choose your own, with fabulous notes and a ‘smart card’ that lures you into your tasting fix!
Cobblestones, lanes, beautiful Victorian Sydney awaits you as you hear the stories from the early days of the colony and find hidden treasures and locations from long ago. One of Sydney’s best kept Secrets is Foundation Park woven amidst remnants of 1870’s terrace houses, brought back to life by renowned sculptor, Peter Cole.
Scandalous stories leap from alleys, as you imagine the heady aromas, clipper ships and passions that once ruled the docks of Walsh Bay. Take refreshments and relax in the alluring architecture of Sydney’s Dance Café, and view its contemporary lifestyle.
Witness buried foundations of an 1820’s cottage lost beneath new apartments, as you make you way to The Hero, built from local sandstone, a favourite drinking spot for the 1840s Garrison Troops from colonial days. Be enticed down into the cellar and hear about the tunnels and the secrets, then surface for an ale, and relax as you soak up the sounds of fabulous jazz!
Tour includes: wine tastings ~ refreshments on Walsh Bay and choice of either beer/soft drink or wine to finish
