I just wanted to thank you for an absolutely delightful, fun and incredibly interesting and informative tour of the Rocks with the Design students this afternoon. They all thoroughly enjoyed it and it has given them a terrific relevance and background of learning to the area in which they will spend a year of their studies which I am sure will stay with them for a very long time

Thank you for all of the assistance you provided with our recent Rocks walking tour. We appreciate how flexible you were with our requests, and the endless enthusiasm and professionalism with which you and Deb conducted the tour. The group of 46 agents that participated are very important to our business, and this was their first impression of Sydney. They have all since remarked on how wonderfully fascinating the tour was. Thank you for impressing them and showing them the secrets of the Rocks.

More Client Testimonials! Holger - Sydney We are really impressed by your presentation. It gave us a good impression and overview about The Rocks and the history behind it – Well done, we are coming back!!!
Matt - AbbotsfordAs a resident of Sydney I was amazed to see a side of Sydney that I didn’t know existed. Extremely enjoyable, informative and worthwhile
Ginny - SydneyThank you for making last Saturday afternoon such a fun and educational experience. We could all be walking around with a guidebook and discover Sydney but the Secrets of Sydney tours are so much more than the secrets and the history. It’s your enthusiasm and the friendship you have with people like Gail, Nino and Jonathan who make Sydney the friendly city! I am checking my diary to book the Rocks tour. I wish Oprah and her group could go on your tour. My pearls are lovely, the red wine vinegar is yummy and my memories of the day are vivid. Thank you again. PS I hope I have you as my guide again when I go on the Rocks tour.
Head Teacher Tafe Guiding Students Ultimo - Janine McLeodYou are SOOO fabulous girl! I loved your tour and your company and so did the students. They will all go on facebook and rave about you. They are so motivated now after spending the arvo with you! It was very beneficial for them! Thanks so much for a REALLY REALLY fun afternoon. I LOVED IT! Thanks, Janine
Kylie - Hunter ValleyJust a quick email to let you know how much we enjoyed the walking tour, you did a great job. We would never have known that all these little back streets and ally-ways still had the remains of ruins of our history, without history there is no identity. For me it was great and quite personal for me as my first fleet ancestor Matthew James Everinghams name was on the wall in the old pub where we finished up and said our goodbyes. It was amazing to have walked the streets and seen slightly would it would have been in his eyes, and where he met his wife the second fleet the 'Hell' ship the Neptune, her name Elizabeth Rhymes Rimes. You helped to make it real, and that is not an easy thing to do for strangers, well done you!! You made us all welcome, and I was impressed on how much historical knowledge you have attained and the research you have put into your tours, I can appreciate this as history for me is a hobby and one well worth studying. We may live in the Hunter Valley, I have told many my friends who are like minded and are intending in the future to have a tour. I think everybody on the tour enjoyed themselves and felt very immersed in time. Thanks so much - Kylie
Jenny - SydneyWe all had a wonderful day. You were an amazing tour guide – entertaining and with such a range of interesting facts (historical, cultural, novelty!). It really was a great afternoon and will certainly be in contact again when we have more relatives come to visit us in Sydney.
Joanne - Neutral BayI participated in the 8th Jan walk. The tour was both interesting and informative. It opened ones eyes to what is around us, not only to the history but to some of the bygone people as well. Janet (guide) was a pleasure to listen to, and dispensed her knowledge with regard to the multicultural group that she had, even with a bit of humour thrown in. A great day for anyone whether they are from overseas (like me) or local.
Carmel McAuliffe - Civil Marriage CelebrantWhat a wonderful time I had on Janet's tour. She vividly brought to life life in older and harder times in Sydney while showing us exciting and secret parts of Sydney. Janet's choice of venues was inspired as was her most entertaining commentary and guidance. This tour should be on anyone's list of what to do in Sydney.
Dave - IT AuditorJanet - had a great day, learned a lot about Sydney and found places we never knew existed. Thanks to you both for a great experience
Susan, SydneyAfter being away from Sydney for 30yrs it was a thrill to be shown the sites of places that I had just taken for granted & never realised were there & the people that owned the different shops we visited went out of there way to make it an experience. I talked about it to my friends all night. Thank you for such an informative walk
Cecily - Coffs Harbour Thank you for such a beautiful tour Janet! These secrets of Sydney's culture and its history are truly an eye-opener to the marvel of this citys colourful heritage. The tour was extremely entertaining and enriched with information :) thank you again!
Teeny Stewart, Bay of Plenty NZKaren and I experienced a "secrets of Sydney" tour recently. Our one was around the "Rocks" area of Sydney Harbour. It quickly became apparent that there is more than meets the eye as regards past history, of that part of Sydney. Janet expertly related historical facts about past seafarers, convicts and infamous personalities. She led us on a leisurely walk through the area and its fascinating past. We recommend this tour as its excellent value and Janet even "shouts" a cuppa along the way, with a drink at the close of day.
Jeanie (Jeanette)Hi Janet - Your tour was one of the best I have ever been on due to the company, your knowledge and humour. It was such a kaleidoscope of things to do and see and a good pace for oldies like me. I have told many of my friends about it and hope that this encourages them to "take the plunge". Thank you once again for a wonderful day. Even the weather was kind to us.

Stories and tales that you don’t get in the guide books. Janet is a very informative guide and the tour is really flexible - great for groups or families. She can tailor a tour to fit many different interests. I took my children on the tour and Janet kept them entertained and involved them in what she was showing us.
